Tara McGeehan

Tara McGeehan is President of CGI’s UK and Australia Operations and is a member of the Group’s Executive. Tara’s business comprises of 6000 members of staff delivering complex IT solutions to private and public sector clients, and has a turnover of approximately one billion pounds. Previously, she was responsible for CGI’s UK Energy and Utilities business and for delivering the UK’s national Smart Metering programme. Prior to that Tara was a senior manager at National Grid, the UK’s electricity distribution network. She is passionate about diversity and encouraging young people and women to enter the technology industry.

Tara holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering with a focus on understanding the financial and practical considerations of commerce. She is a loyal and often disappointed follower of both the Yorkshire and England cricket teams.
