Building a digital-savvy public service

For decades, the public service has been a preferred employer across Canada, offering opportunities to serve Canadians coupled with job security and career advancement. However, governments today struggle to attract and upskill their digital workforces—especially women, who continue to be underrepresented in technology roles in the civil service. This executive session will shed light on the challenges the civil service faces, at the federal and provincial levels, in recruiting and skilling talent—and the best strategies to address those challenges.
